Grade: Highest ceremonial
Origin: Single-origin, spring first harvest — Uji, Kyoto, Japan
Notes: Smooth and velvety, deep umami, clean elegant finish
Fuji Murasaki, our highest ceremonial grade Uji matcha, is now presented in a refined and reusable tin. Harvested in spring and stone-ground in small batches, it reveals a smooth, velvety texture with deep umami and a clean, elegant finish.
The tin is distinguished by a special collaboration with artist Ayana Miyoshi (@ayana.world). Her artwork, featured on the lid, brings a subtle yet distinctive character — transforming the piece into something to keep, not discard. Each release in this series will introduce new artistic expressions, making every tin uniquely collectible.
Designed for longevity, the tin holds 30g and can be refilled with our Fuji Murasaki 40g pouch.
*Uji is the birthplace of matcha, known for its unmatched quality, thanks to its unique climate, soil and centuries-old craftsmanship.
""Fuji Murasaki"" translates to ""light purple"" in ancient Japanese language.
❤ A cup worth keeping — tin and all!
